The Balanced Life - Why Self-Motivation?

So why do I need self-motivation?

Others will not continually give you the motivation you need to realize your dreams. If anything, they will attempt to dissuade you. People have a tendency to place others in a well-defined box. This enables them to make sense out of what you are doing, especially if they have never had a great dream, or they have, but they gave up on it. So you really cannot depend on others to keep you motivated. This is a task that you and only you can do.

But how in the world do I do this, you might ask? More tomorrow...

Hmm... I agree to you about self motivation.

I don't call it self-motivation. I usually call it self generating:

-Generating happiness and fun for myself and the team.
-Generating excitement for myself and my team.
-Generating responsible for myself and my team.
-Generating love and relatedness for myself and my team.
-etc.

I don't wait for people or things to happen. I generate all this myself to everyone.

Hi Alex! Self-generating...I LOVE it. Sounds so "action-based". Question for you... Everyone has their "down" days, or hours, or minutes. How do you bring yourself back up to your wonderful "self-generating" self?? Have any tips for our readers?
Thanks,
